Memories & Treasures has been in business for over 2 years now. If you have never visited our website or Flea Markets in the Mid-Michigan area we deal in older and not so old items. Our passion is buying storage units (it is not as glamorous as they make it out on TV but it is fun!) and reselling what we find. Lots of what we find is not fit to sell but we try our hardest to find a purpose for everything and everything is "One of a Kind".
One of a Kind means something different to us because even though there may be lots of what we find out there our items are one of a kind in our store! We don't buy bulk items, we buy storage units. These units hold items that were once of personal value to the previous owner and for reasons of their own had to give it up or gave it up by choice. This makes the things we sell "one of a kind" treasures.
Our goal is for you, the shopper, to find an item in our store that you like, take it home and either use it for the purpose it was intended or to repurpose it and use it for your own purpose! This can be a fun enterprise as you may find something that really doesn't fit the original purpose but you have a vision of what it can be used for.
We have had customers buy old console TV sets and turn them into plant displays or animal aquariums. Old chairs or tables and use them as outside plant stands or inside display tables for antiques or other collectibles they may have. Then there are clothes! We have returning customers all the time looking for vintage clothing we find to either wear as is or add their own flair before wearing, it's been fun talking to people and find out what they are going to use objects for they find through us and sometimes to even see the results!
Our inventory is ever changing as we buy storage units, you may see some of the same types of things but every item you see is "unique" in the sense that we only have one (in the rare instance we get an exact duplicate we list them individually). Come browse our inventory and see what you can use to brighten your day or maybe you are brightening someone else's with a gift.
